CEO Roundtable Program

The CEO Roundtable program brings together Presidents, CEOs and bottom-line decision makers to  act as an informal board of directors, providing assistance, solutions and ideas on a variety of issues faced by business owners.

CEO Roundtable Operating Guidelines

Who Qualifies:

  • Participants in the program must be Dallas Regional Chamber members.
  • Participants in the program are CEOs and presidents or bottom-line decision makers of companies.

How Groups are Formed:

  • Each roundtable has 10 to 12 members.
  • The Dallas Regional Chamber assigns members to groups based on non-competition, size of firm (number of employees) and other factors that may indicate a “fit.”
  • If there is not an available opening, participants will be placed on a waiting list until a position becomes available and/or a new group is formed.
  • No additional participants will be assigned into groups without approval of the roundtable members.
  • The groups select one member of the roundtable to serve as facilitator. The facilitator serves as liaison between the group and the Dallas Regional Chamber.

Group & Participant Guidelines:

  • Roundtables are encouraged to meet at least monthly. In addition, all CEO Roundtable groups will meet for the CEO Summer Series breakfasts. The Dallas Regional Chamber will coordinate these meetings.
  • Groups should find a regular meeting date, time, length, etc., that does not regularly exclude a member because of a standing conflict. Participants must attend meetings regularly when in the city. Anyone with three unexcused absences may be asked to leave the group, unless circumstances are deemed appropriate. The group facilitator and Chamber staff coordinate this action.
  • Each roundtable operates with complete confidence and autonomy, developing its own objectives, priorities, agendas, meeting times, meeting dates, and meeting locations.
  • Visitors are allowed to attend meetings only by approval of the roundtable group.
  • Roundtables are not leads groups.  The purpose is to act as an advisory board of directors, as well as, share and gain management assistance.

An annual administrative fee of $50 per person will be charged by the Chamber to defray expenses incurred in the management of the program, and there is a minimal fee to attend the CEO Summer Series breakfasts.
